Bossa Nova

The music of the Bossa Nova comes from Brazil. The dance originated in Carnegie Hall, and is really a faked version of the true Samba. It was sometimes referred to as a salon samba. The dance originated in 1961, has an easy rhythm and is not difficult for beginners.
